A single person has the power to move us more than the countless others who have suffered just as they did but whose faces have remained in the shadows. Perhaps it is better that way. If we were capable of taking in all the suffering of all these families, we would not be able to live.

This page contains links to details from a growing number of case studies submitted by the public from the Share-a-Story form. These vignettes illustrate in different ways the tremendous impact of pregnancy related crashes on families, individuals, their offspring and society. For many reasons, injuries to the fetus resulting from crashes involving pregnant women are not reported and counted and thus are not very visible. This page unveils the stories and begins to bring them to light.
